Most tools give you a prompt box and a style dropdown. Scaldeo gives you a format pack, which is a directory of four files you can open and edit.
The four files
- A manifest — target length, words per cut, scene cap, and the pacing the format is written to.
- A script prompt — the master instruction that decides how the writing sounds.
- A visual brief — the register every scene image is generated against.
- A corrector prompt — what counts as a mistake worth rewriting.
Swap the pack and every stage changes together. That is the point: pacing, prose and imagery are one decision, not three settings that can drift apart.
Why they are editable
Because the defaults will not be right for you. The bundled business explainer targets around 3,600 words at roughly eighteen words per cut. Your channel may want half that, cut twice as fast.
You can change the number. It is a file.
A format is not a preset we chose for you. It is a document you own.
What we deliberately left out
The bundled pack defines no characters. A generic format that emits character tokens with no matching reference produces silent generation failures — an empty frame where a person should be. Better to ship none than to ship a stranger.
